Bark O' Clock Earl Grey Perfume (Parfum) 50 ml
Here is the essence of everyday life. In a few years, Saturday evening will be filled with friends, madness, and laughter. Now you can hear it too, sometimes from a tin, other times from the sofa. It's the evening of grand premieres, awaited for weeks, that moment when everyone, drowning in responsibilities, could finally do nothing together. Blue light saturates your eyes, and white noise relaxes your muscles. One bag for each person and one extra for the pot. Water absorbs the flavor of the leaves, filling the evening with the aroma of black tea and bergamot. This is what Earl Grey smells like.
Bark'o'clock Earl Grey tea scented perfume
Bark'o'clock is the scent of Saturday evenings. You didn't have to plan anything or invite anyone. Everyone knew that after the news, that one show would start, the one the whole family watched. It was enough for someone to shout "it's starting!", and more household members would start coming out of their rooms.
The whistle of the kettle could be heard from the kitchen. One bag per person and one for the teapot. This is not a spell, but a recipe for tea essence, served in those same glasses with metal holders that got so hot you didn't know if it was safe to pick them up yet. That was not the only risk that evening. "Take the spoon out, or you'll poke your eye out!". It was too loud in the room. Someone commented on the show, someone raved about the cake-the kind that wasn't too sweet-someone shouted that you were blocking the TV. The father laughed at jokes that no one else thought were funny. The mother asked everyone to finally stop talking because she couldn't hear anything. No one called it family time. It was simply a Saturday evening.
Over the years, the house began to change. An electric kettle appeared in the kitchen. The essence slowly gave way to tea brewed directly in mugs. One bag for everyone. More types of tea appeared in stores. Life became more and more convenient. You could watch more channels, record your favorite shows, and then turn them on whenever you felt like it. Only it became increasingly difficult to gather everyone in front of the TV. First, someone started going out on Saturday evenings with friends. Someone fell in love. Someone left for university, promising to visit. Even when you managed to get a few people together on the sofa, each of them already had their own small screen in their pocket. No one fought over the remote anymore. Only the father would get angry. "Put those phones away. Can we watch at least one program normally?". You rolled your eyes. Did he really care that much about that stupid show? Only later did you understand that it wasn't about the television. He wanted you all to be sitting together again.
And then you grew up. You have your own apartment, your own TV, and a sofa where you can sprawl out however you want. No one takes the remote from you. You can watch an entire season of a series in one evening. You don't have to wait for Saturday to watch a movie hit. Several types of tea await in the kitchen. There is even your favorite Earl Grey. The one with a really intense bergamot, which someone probably wouldn't have spent money on back then. One bag just for you. Served in a handmade mushroom-shaped bowl. You sit in front of the TV. You recognize the opening credits, you remember the jokes, and you know exactly at which moment your father would have started laughing. For a moment, you instinctively want to comment on something, but there is no one there. It is finally as quiet as you always wanted. And somehow, you don't like it at all.
In the psychology of olfactory memory, familiar aromas can evoke incredibly detailed memories of places, people, and the emotions that accompanied them. That is why sometimes one scent is enough to remind you of an entire room. The blue light of the TV, the clinking spoons, and the warmth of the glass. Maybe you no longer remember what that show was about. Maybe it wasn't even particularly good. But you would give a lot to watch it one more time. In that room. With those people. Enjoy it while it's still possible.
Earl Grey tea in its purest form - black tea with bergamot
Bark'o'clock is a perfume focused on the characteristic aroma of Earl Grey tea. Its heart is black tea - distinct, slightly tart, and deep. It is accompanied by a very intense bergamot, which is not a discreet addition. Its aroma is clear, almost as intense as the scent rising from a freshly opened tin of highly flavored Earl Grey tea. We have not added milk, sugar, or honey. Bark'o'clock does not try to smell like a tea interpretation of a perfume. It is a realistic accord of black tea with bergamot. We used a concentration of 30% to best capture the character of this scent, allowing it to resonate on the skin for as long as possible.

PS On the Bark'o'clock packaging, you will meet a slightly melancholy Basset Hound. This time he is not looking for Toddy Spice. He is looking for a spot on the sofa next to you. All so he can rest his heavy head on your lap. A bit lazily and a bit stubbornly. Did you know that a Basset Hound's long ears, brushing the ground while tracking, help direct scent particles toward the nose, and the loose folds of skin around the muzzle help trap scents? No wonder that with such equipment, he can sniff out the best place for a cuddle.
